@bistro_etroit.ep2 is a newly opened Japanese & French restaurant located at Orchard Plaza, Somerset.
I visited Bistrot Etroit with an open mind considering I was upset with the unfriendliness of the previous chef when I visited the establishment a year ago.
Surprisingly, we enjoyed every dish served as we felt that the ingredients used were of high standard and it blended perfectly with the flavours on the plate.
My favourite dish was the Kinki fish served with buttery lobster mousse and topped with delicious bafun uni. I also enjoyed the crab meat wrapped in lettuce cleverly hidden at the bottom of the dish.
Chef Yokoyama prepares the dishes, cooks, arranges the presentation and serves the dishes. I must say for a one-man show, the food was delicious and all the dishes hit the right spot for me. I strongly believe that this new establishment deserves much more attention.
We were served the following menu:
French loaf, Parma ham and cheese
Lobster topped with Caviar and served with mustard
Salad Platter, Scallop, Squid, Seaweed
Kinki Fish, Fresh Crab meat wrapped in Lettuce, Served with Lobster Mousse and Bafun Uni
Venison, Oyster Mushroom, Potato Pie, Baby Carrot, Fig.
Muskmelon, Strawberry and Macha macaroons
