Sushi Sakuta is helmed by Chef Yoshio Sakuta, who previously headed 2️⃣ Michelin-Star Shoukouwa & the infamous Sushi Kou.
Located on the ground floor of Hotel Capitol Kempinski , the main counter features a 12 seater hinoki wood counter, offering a carefully-crafted selection of sake, wine and champagne to complement its premium omakase. There is only one menu for lunch and dinner and the price is fixed at $500.
Apart from its steep price, this omakase is really impossible to fault. The ingredients used are of premium quality and the sushi were near to perfection.
I have known the staff from my Sushi Kou days and they are like a family to me. I would highly encourage sushi lovers to continue to support the establishment and I guess in a way to go with an open mind.
