The New Ubin Seafood’s first began on the island of Pulau Ubin itself, where it served kampong-style seafood to all who visited Ubin’s north shore. With acquisition of Pulau Ubin by the Singapore government in 1992, New Ubin Seafood moved to the mainland, and the current zi char kitchen is located at Metropolitan YMCA and in CHIJMES building.

Made a dinner reservation for 5 pax and the place was full on a Saturday evening.

Food was overall good and served in generous proportions. Contrary to some of the reviews, service was actually pretty good and most of the staff that attended to us were polite and attentive.
