Tang Yun Tanglin Club x Foodie Group
Tang Yun is an authentic Cantonese dining restaurant, nested in the heart of Tanglin Club - Singapore’s oldest and prestigious private members club founded in 1865, with over 4,000 members from more than 70 countries.
Located on level 2, the restaurant is above the club’s reception and its entrance. It is not a big restaurant, with about 2 or 3 private dining rooms.
The restaurant is helmed by Chef Mike Tan, who has a tremendous international experience in Chinese Michelin Starred Restaurants such as JW Marriott’s Chinese restaurant and “Hakkasan” restaurant in Miami, in Florida US, which is also a Michelin Star winner for contemporary Cantonese cuisine.
Tang Yun serves both modern and traditional dishes for your selection. Please note that this restaurant is only accessible by Tanglin Club Members. I was invited to be part of the Foodie Group and one of them is a member.

Overall, the meal was excellent and we’d love to be back again to try more dishes. Prices were very decent and with the help of a foodie (who is a member of the Tanglin Club), the average costed person was around $60!
A great night to remember - great meal and companionship organised by passionate foodies & a pleasant touch to end the dinner…
