VERDICT:
FYSH was an absolutely beautiful place to dine in. Everything seemed interesting but once it touches your tongue, it seems that you have been taken for a ride. The dhufish head terrine and egg tart was too salty to be eaten and the main course was really bland. Ironically for a restaurant that prides itself on its seafood dishes, the desserts were the saving grace.
The spiral staircase at the entrance of the hotel leads down to Edition’s signature bar, the Punch Room.
The bar serves a punch cocktail menu inspired by Southeast Asian spices. The drinks menu is crafted with local spices, teas, and spirits, guided by mixologists echoing Singapore's cultural tapestry and storied heritage. The beautiful bar is swathed in a shade of Yves Klein blue, while the wall and ceilings are lined with oak panels. A sculptural blue ceiling pendant, designed by Parisian artist Eric Schmitt.
